Many PE teachers know how challenging a Net/Wall unit can be using traditional equipment; students chasing tennis balls or shuttles being missed by those pesky long-necked badminton racquets. Speedminton is gaining traction as an extremely viable option within a primary Net/Wall program. Speedminton resources allow students to have success early within a Net/Wall program; using this equipment as a first choice allows the use of more standard equipment when students have increased knowledge and confidence. This practical session, delivered by a PE teacher who has successfully used Speedminton resources at two different primary schools, both with extremely varying student cohorts, will demonstrate how Speedminton can add massive value to, and be easily implemented within, a PE program. With appropriate activities suitable for inside, or outside, Speedminton is a viable way to introduce racquet and striking skills, movement suitable for a range of Net/Wall games, and game strategy in general. Speedminton enhances cooperation and allows students of all abilities to realise success with a racquet sport.  LI: To be able to demonstrate how elementary Net/Wall outcomes can be achieved with Speedminton.  SC: a) To demonstrate a sequence of outcomes for Net/Wall games. b) To use exciting activities to quickly build enthusiasm for students. c) To use Speedminton as a conduit towards other Net/Wall games.
