Fundamental movement skills (FMS) and game sense strategies and concepts form the basic building blocks of many games, sports and activities. Linked to the HPE curriculum this one day workshop will guide primary school educators in teaching basic FMS and game play concepts and strategies.

This event will enable you to build your knowledge and capacity in:
- Sequencing, assessing and teaching critical fundamental movement skills within a game and/or sport theme context;
- Examine how you can link motor skills and game concepts to develop tactical and strategic thinkers;
- Understand the different game categories and how to structure a theme based curriculum around game concepts and strategies;
- Confidence and understanding of teaching FMS and game concept through practical involvement and application in a range of activities
