Session 1: This webinar, while laying the foundation for the series, will focus on: * The importance of planning and overarching considerations to drive program development. * Developing your HPE program vision and learning outcomes * Introducing a thematic approach to planning.

Session 2: We will take you through a systematic approach to developing your yearly, semester and unit plan scope and sequence. Using examples from ACHPER Victoria’s Curriculum Charts to further develop your ability to identify clear learning outcomes to address the specific needs of your students and school context.

Session 4: Will explore: * the Game Sense model and how it can be applied to 7-10 HPE * content within each category * development of units as thematic categories * pedagogy applied to small sided, designer games to enhance tactical, technical, and personal/social skills.

Session 5: This webinar will explore invasion games in more detail, aiming to examine strategies and activities from a range of sports and games to help create more game awareness for students. This sessions aim is to enable teachers and coaches to empower their students to think and strategize meaningful responses to invasion game concepts, thus developing their creative and critical thinking.

Session 6: This webinar will target those educators looking for a challenge and new ways to extend and engage students in PE. Threshold concepts are described as the ideas and mindsets crucial to students gaining a genuine understanding of our subject. When students cross these thresholds, new and previously inaccessible ways of thinking about aspects of HPE are revealed. This webinar explores threshold concepts and will provide an opportunity for discussion around how these could apply to your students.
