Supporting and celebrating Active Schools success in 2022

As we near the end of 2022, we reflect on the highlights and outcomes achieved through the schools supported by the Active Schools Expert Support Service (ESS) team.

A key element of these outcomes is sustainability, with schools gaining the knowledge and support they need to ensure these changes have an impact well beyond 2022.

Active Schools Project Director, Kathy Tessier said, “The total investment of $45.4 million from the Department of Education since 2019 in the Active Schools initiative provides schools with much needed support and resources to enable students to be active.”

“It is wonderful to see this data from schools and students to prove just how much of an impact this investment has had.”
