ACHPER Victoria is a proud industry partner of Premier’s Active April 2019. As part of the Victorian Government’s commitment to promote healthy and active lifestyles through increased physical activity, Active April encourages all Victorians to do 30 minutes of any sort of physical activity (including incidental activity) every day in April. Best of all, it’s fun and it’s free to get involved.
Schools and teachers play a vital role in shaping the wellbeing and long-term health of young people, Victorian teachers who register for Active April by 19 March go in the draw to win one of three ACHPER Victoria physical activity equipment kits (valued up to $300) which can be used to support classroom teachers to increase activity and decrease sedentary behaviour through the school day.
The more students and teachers who register, the higher the chance your school has of winning!
How to get your school on board:

Log in and head to the Profile page
- Fill in the short form under 'Register Account Members', making sure that you list the user under your school.
Download the Active April mobile app for iOS and Android to help you manage your teams and track activity all with the click of a button.
The app also features a digital card giving you easy access to all the Active April offers featured in My Local. Plus, a whole new section dedicated to the Get Active Workout Videos to keep you motivated throughout April.
