Join the Physical Activity Networking Session, hosted by the Active Schools Team.
A networking night connecting colleagues to foster collaboration and sharing of ideas. The session will provide suggestions to assist with increasing physical activity levels at your school in 2 of the 6 Active Schools key priority areas:
• Active Classrooms
• Active Recreation
What you can expect from the session:
4.30pm: Let’s play, socialise, and learn about Pickleball.
A popular Active Recreation sport to include in your school’s repertoire. Learn the rules and what you need to get
started with this new sports craze!
5.30pm: Break & snack
Enjoy a fruit platter provided by the Active Schools team.
5.45pm: Photo Gallery conversations / Active Classrooms x 3 activities / Q & A
Participate in an Active Classroom session to learn quick activities you can utilise in class. Hear about great project
ideas that have previously been implemented by Active Schools.
6.15pm: Networking
An opportunity to connect with like-minded colleagues.
Cost: FULLY SUBSIDISED - (registration is a must for catering purposes)
Who can attend? Any DoE employee (with or without Active Schools funding). Registrations are open to non-DoE employees subject to availability.
