This professional development day will develop your knowledge on how to increase physical activity levels at your school in one or more of the 6 Active Schools key priority areas:

Creating an Active School – Facilitated session looking at how schools are using their Active Schools and Extracurricular funding. Explore the Active Schools community resources.
Active Classrooms – Energise your classroom with a range of active breaks.
Quality Physical Education – Practical sessions on optimal use of weights rooms and using game sense and cultural games to increase engagement in your PE programs.
Accessing External Links – Discover tailored programs from external providers to elevate your school’s Quality PE and wellbeing outcomes. Guest speakers - South East Melbourne Phoenix, Sport North East and Sport4All.
Cost: FULLY SUBSIDISED - (registration is a must for catering purposes)
Who can attend? Any DoE employee (with or without Active Schools funding). Registrations are open to non-DoE employees subject to availability.
