Be part of Cricket Victoria's Teacher Professional Development Tour in Term 3

Calling all primary school teachers! Get ready to add some excitement to your physical education (PE) classes and beyond with Cricket Victoria's 'Teacher Professional Development Tour', heading to select schools in Term 3, 2024.

Cricket Victoria and ACHPER Victoria are looking for 20 interested schools to welcome Cricket Victoria into your school for a student-facing cricket clinic, along with a classroom teacher PD session to introduce the Mascot Challenge to your staff!

What’s on offer

Teacher Professional Development (PD)
Enhance your teaching strategies by integrating active breaks into your classroom routine. Cricket Victoria offers an engaging and informative professional development session, supported by research, for teachers at your school. This session will focus on implementing Cricket Victoria's 'Mascot Challenge' as active breaks into your classroom.

Designed to seamlessly align with the curriculum, teachers will receive the necessary equipment and innovative strategies to incorporate physical activity into your lessons as much or as little as you like. While we suggest allocating 30 minutes to one hour for this teacher PD, we are open to discussing and adapting the duration to best suit your school's schedule if selected.

Engaging Cricket Clinic
Skilled Cricket Managers from Cricket Victoria will visit your school to conduct an interactive cricket clinic for your PE class. They'll present a variety of engaging techniques to invigorate your PE sessions, showcasing dynamic cricket activities tailored for all abilities and age groups.

Plus, don't miss out on exciting cricket giveaways during the session! During this practical session, we'll reveal the keys to making cricket sessions both enjoyable and educational, leaving both students and teachers inspired.

This tour is currently open to ALL primary schools (Foundation to Year 6). However, if you're interested in having the Cricket Victoria Teacher PD Tour visit your secondary school in the future, please indicate below!
