With the end of the 2021 school year approaching, now is a great time to book in your 2022 visit to Road to Zero at Melbourne Museum. 

Road to Zero is a world first road safety education complex, developed by the TAC in partnership with Melbourne Museum. The program is designed to specifically align with Health and PE curriculum at Years 9 and 10 and VCAL. 

Offering a highly interactive and educational experience, Road to Zero engages students through immersive digital technology. They learn about road safety issues and consider how they can contribute to achieving the vision of zero lives lost on our roads.

What:

There are two parts to the Road to Zero Education Complex visit with a total duration of two hours including:

  • Curriculum-linked program in the purpose-built Learning Studio
  • An immersive and exploratory Experience Space showcasing the latest multi-sensory interactive technologies. 
Support:  

The programs are delivered by trained facilitators who have the skills and tools to modify program messages and activities, based on the learning needs of your student group. 

Online resources are available for pre- and post-visit curriculum based activities.

Where:
Road to Zero is located on the Lower Ground Floor at Melbourne Museum, 11 Nicholson St, Carlton. There is bus stop access for drop off, or it is also a short walk from Parliament Station, tram and bus routes.
