VCE Trial Exams: a critical practice run for your students
If you’re a teacher of VCE, you will now be planning how to prepare your students to help maximise their performance in end of year exams. Providing students with an authentic trial exam experience is an effective way to build confidence and tackle those harder to grasp concepts in a practice run scenario – an invaluable opportunity for students to learn from their mistakes without the added pressure of achieving end of year results.
To give VCE teachers opportunities to prepare their students for the months ahead, each year, ACHPER Victoria engages teams of leading educators across respective subjects to develop and deliver VCE teaching resources, including trial exams. We pride ourselves on ensuring our content is informed by research, evidence and experience. We test all our content on practicing teachers and use their feedback to ensure our products hit the mark and meet their high expectations.
Considered a ‘must-have’ in any VCE teachers’ planning toolkit, this year’s trial exams once again align to VCAA’s full Study Design after study designs were altered last year due to COVID.
Our Unit 2 OES and Unit 2, Unit 3 and 4 PE Trial Exams, as well as Units 3 and 4 HHD, OES and End of Year VET Sport and Recreation are now available to download. Note, Unit 2 HHD is coming soon.
